Children aged approximately 10–12 from five countries—Japan, Italy, Finland, Portugal, and Sweden—were invited to design their own "House of the Heart," a place where people could live harmoniously with each other and with the planet. Interni Materiae @Milano Fuorisalone 2026 Walking through INTERNI MATERIAE feels cinematic and almost philosophical. Historic cloisters become immersive landscapes of shadow and projection. Botanical gardens host mythological installations built from reusable structures and poetic symbolism. Vast university courtyards pulse with monumental architectural interventions that feel simultaneously ancient and futuristic. Inside the courtyards of the University of Milan, the experience feels almost cathedral-like — light filtering through arcades onto monumental installations while crowds move slowly between sound, sculpture, architecture, and speculative design experiments.
