“Shimmering Memories”, Klein Dytham Architecture (Astrid Klein & Mark Dytham

The installation creates an immersive environment where light, reflective surfaces, and visitor movement converge to produce a continuously shifting spatial experience. Reflections and refracted light generate ephemeral images that emerge and dissolve, mirroring the fluid and transient nature of human memory. Rather than being perceived as a static object, the space is experienced as a dynamic environment that evolves in response to the visitor’s movement and perspective. The installation promotes active engagement, transforming the observer into an integral part of the composition—an approach that is characteristic of Klein Dytham’s design philosophy. Superstudio Design 2026 – SuperNova – DITP Thailand The participation of the  Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP Thailand)  in  SuperNova  at  Milan Design Week 2026  was presented through the exhibition  “Slow Hand Design 2026 – Heritage Reimagined: The Futuristic Thai Crafts Evolution,”  which highlighted the convergence of traditional Thai craftsmanship with contemporary innovation, biotechnology, and sustainable materials. The installation functioned as a multisensory environment in which cultural heritage was reinterpreted through new technologies and materials. The exhibition design, developed by  DOTS Design Studio , showcased works by 25 selected Thai brands, combining traditional motifs, a contemporary graphic identity, and innovative biomaterials such as mycelium tiles, biofibers, and recycled agricultural waste.  During Milano Design Week, artist Raffaele Salvoldi and the Seed Festival presented "Build un-build" at the Listone Giordano Arena. The interactive installation explored the impermanence of architecture, inviting over 80 leading architects and designers to shape ephemeral structures using 200 modular oak elements before destroying them to start a new one. Η διαδραστική αυτή εγκατάσταση διερεύνησε την παροδικότητα της αρχιτεκτονικής, προσκαλώντας περισσότερους από 80 κορυφαίους αρχιτέκτονες και σχεδιαστές να δημιουργήσουν εφήμερες κατασκευές χρησιμοποιώντας 200 αρθρωτά στοιχεία από ξύλο δρυός.   Design, Theater of Excellence / NYCxDESIGN On the occasion of  NYCxDESIGN 2026 , Gervasoni returned to New York, in the  heart of Manhattan’s NoMad Design   District , and took part in  " Design, Theater of Excellence", the exhibition project presented  by Interni Magazine at the headquarters of ITA – Italian Trade Agency in New York .  The exhibition, on view until July 15, 2026, is part of  Italy on Madison,  the initiative dedicated to Italian excellence and lifestyle. The exhibition revolved around a tribute to the French Art Deco designer Pierre Legrain, reconnecting the contemporary collection with Louis Vuitton’s early twentieth-century design heritage.  Rather than functioning as a conventional furniture showcase, the installation unfolded as a sequence of atmospheric rooms — each staged like a cinematic interior. Presented by  ETEL  inside the brand’s Milan space on Via Maroncelli, the collection transformed fragments of abandoned wood into monumental objects that felt both ancient and futuristic. Totems, consoles, mirrors, sideboards, and sculptural tables emerged not as polished products, but as emotional landscapes assembled from memory, fracture, and repair.  There was also a profound Latin American soul within the project. The craftsmanship of Brazilian artisans and Mohaded’s Argentine sensibility merged into a language that felt tactile, earthy, and deeply emotional. IQOS MILANO Outside, Fuorisalone carried its usual energy — crowded streets, sharp fashion, endless motion. But inside the IQOS installation, time softened. The noise of the city faded into something almost tender. It became less about innovation and more about presence: the beauty of pause, the elegance of breathing, the fragile comfort of feeling connected in a world designed to move too fast. And when visitors finally stepped back into the Milan evening, many carried the same expression — that quiet look people wear after encountering something they cannot fully explain, but do not want to forget. DOLCE & GABBANA 2026 MILANO inspired by Caravaggio.  During Milan Design Week 2026, the atmosphere inside  Dolce & Gabbana  felt like stepping into a hyper-curated Italian dream sequence — somewhere between a cinematic palazzo, a fashion set, and a luxury art installation. The brand transformed Milanese retail into performance space. Instead of feeling like a traditional boutique, the store became immersive and theatrical: glossy black surfaces, dramatic lighting, handcrafted textures, baroque detailing, and oversized floral compositions created a mood that was intensely sensual and unmistakably Dolce & Gabbana. WILD KONG FUORISALONE 2026   Created by  Richard Orlinski , the giant glossy red gorilla turned the historic courtyard of the Università degli Studi di Milano into a cinematic collision of primal energy, luxury aesthetics, and street-pop attitude. Created by Otto Studio and Paola Navone for  INTERNI Materiae 2026 , the installation transformed matter into vibration — as though wood, stone, metal, water, and fabric had finally found the courage to speak. In the context of  Materiae , the installation proposed a profound spiritual idea: that matter itself is alive with frequency. That every object carries accumulated histories — of extraction, touch, labor, weather, memory, human presence. And that listening carefully to material may also mean listening more carefully to the world. Within the ancient body of the Università degli Studi di Milano, where stone corridors carry centuries of thought and silence, Busan Echoes  appeared like a distant tide arriving from another world. Created by Migliore+Servetto for  INTERNI Materiae 2026 , the installation did not attempt to reproduce the city of Busan. Instead, it summoned its invisible essence — its rhythm of sea and mountain, its spiritual density, its atmosphere suspended between meditation and movement. Senza Fine  —  without end  — was not an installation to observe from a distance. It was a current to enter, a flowing organism made of light, reflection, and perpetual transformation. Nothing stood still. Curves unfolded into other curves. Surfaces dissolved into luminous continuities. Walls no longer behaved like boundaries but like membranes between realities. The architecture seemed to breathe. Senza Fine  — χωρίς τέλος — δεν ήταν μια εγκατάσταση για να την παρατηρείς από απόσταση. Ήταν ένα ρεύμα στο οποίο έμπαινες, ένας ρέων οργανισμός από φως, αντανάκλαση και αέναη μεταμόρφωση. Τίποτα δεν έμενε ακίνητο. Οι καμπύλες ξεδιπλώνονταν σε άλλες καμπύλες. Οι επιφάνειες διαλύονταν σε φωτεινές συνέχειες. Οι τοίχοι δεν λειτουργούσαν πια ως όρια αλλά σαν μεμβράνες ανάμεσα σε πραγματικότητες. Η αρχιτεκτονική έμοιαζε να αναπνέει.
